Sales & Marketing Specialist (M/F)

As a Sales and Marketing Specialist, you will support all aspects of the business development and sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through proposal development and final sale. These responsibilities include a significant amount of coordination, collaboration, and timeline management in a dynamic team environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assist on sales calls, meetings, presentations, and other activities of interest that advance the company’s business and mission
  • Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify new potential prospects
  • Conduct market research and analyse industry trends to identify new opportunities for growth and support decision-making and problem-solving
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to communicate findings and recommendations
  • Contact potential clients/partners to introduce the business and arrange meetings with upper management
  • Collaborate with upper management in creating strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales
  • Assist in the execution of marketing materials, marketing campaigns and initiatives to promote the company and its products and services
  • Help manage and update social media platforms, including content creation and engagement with followers
  • Assist in organizing and attending national and international trade events in an effort to develop new business and cement current business partnerships with customers
  • Maintain accurate records and generate reports on sales and marketing activities, including campaign performance metrics and relevant KPIs
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills, Experience and Success Factors:

  • Degree in pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, engineering, management or related field, with at least 2 years of experience in marketing/sales/business development
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and good knowledge of Adobe tools
  • Skilled in social media platforms and digital marketing tools
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Detail-orientation with superb organizational skills and strong follow-through
  • Ability to take direction as well as being a self-starter who takes initiative on projects and foresees what will be needed
  • Ethical and committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Ability to travel national and internationally

Role and Responsibilities:

As the Cultivation Assistant, you will play a crucial role in optimizing plant growth and production processes under the guidance of the Head of Cultivation. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating on the implementation of “plant empowerment” strategies to optimize plant growth, health, and yield.
  • Assisting in controlling temperature, humidity, and ventilation of the growing environment, ensuring ideal conditions for plant development.
  • Contributing to the implementation and supervision of sustainable biological protection, scouting, and plant health programs.
  • Working closely with the Head of Cultivation to manage the fertilization process and ensure the proper application of nutrients for healthy plant growth.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the quality of water used in cultivation, adhering to established GACP standards and contributing to water treatment system implementation.
  • Assisting in designing and implementing efficient irrigation systems that minimize water waste and ensure water efficiency.
  • Providing support, guidance, and training to the cultivation team to ensure exceptional performance and effective collaboration.
  • Participating in developing work plans, setting goals, and monitoring progress to ensure timely and budget-compliant results.
  • Staying updated on the latest best practices and technological advancements in plant-growing, contributing to innovation and continuous improvements.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental regulations, and GACP standards related to plant production.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Academic education: Bachelor’s degree in agronomy, horticulture, or a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Prior experience: Demonstrated experience in plant cultivation, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role, showcasing your ability to manage growing operations effectively.
  • Proficient knowledge: Strong expertise in “plant empowerment” strategies, thermodynamics applied to air, biological protection, scouting, plant health, fertilization, water quality, irrigation systems, and team leadership.
  • Organizational skills: Strong organizational and project management skills, enabling you to coordinate various aspects of cultivation activities.
  • Problem-solving ability: Aptitude for making informed decisions and solving complex problems related to plant cultivation in collaboration with the Head of Cultivation.
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with the team and external stakeholders.
  • Team player: Ability to work collaboratively and establish positive working relationships.
  • Technical English: Proficiency in technical English to understand and communicate scientific and technical information related to plant cultivation.

Role and Responsibilities:

As the Production Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate day-to-day GMP processing operations, ensuring the timely and compliant production of dried and cured cannabis, extracted oils, and purified products. Reporting to the Head of Production & Development, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the Head of Production & Development to plan and schedule all cGMP production activities, optimizing resource allocation and workforce planning.
  • Leading and motivating assigned teams to meet production goals, maintaining product quality in line with GMP standards.
  • Supervising and training cGMP operations staff, tracking their productivity and ensuring proper compliance with SOPs.
  • Overseeing various unitary operations and processes to guarantee the final products meet stringent specifications.
  • Providing technical assistance, including equipment maintenance and programming to maximize efficiency.
  • Conducting and/or overseeing in-process control analysis (IPC) for meticulous process monitoring.
  • Reviewing batch records, production documents, and ensuring compliance with SOPs.
  • Supporting the development and revision of SOPs, work instructions, investigation reports, and CAPAs as required.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Cultivation to streamline operations.
  • Reporting current work status and deviations to the Head of Production & Development in a timely manner.
  • Assisting in the development of systems and metrics to evaluate operations and employee performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in chemistry, biotechnology, or a related scientific field, or a minimum of 3 years’ experience (non-academic) in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Previous experience in Cannabis post-harvest processes and/or analytical methods for Cannabis is preferred.
  • Familiarity with high-pressure processes and equipment using fluids or compressed liquids/gases is a plus.
  • Proven supervisory experience with the ability to schedule HR activities for maximum efficiency.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish positive working relationships.
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and exposure to Navision or other ERPs.
  • Demonstrated communication, organizational, and systematic problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
